Talking Well, we jumped on the Tiffin Band Wagon

Long day, drove a few again, decided on the Allegro 33aa
Really excited even though we will miss our cool little Itasca Navion, and the ease of driving/parking/fill ups. But was tired of all the on the cupboards!

Here's to a king size bed!

If you don't tow a toad, now you have to decide on a toad to pull. Dave

Thanks to all, and for all of your helpful posts. Dave, we like your idea of the Liberty, although so far we rented in the past. I figure we have some time to decide. How easy is towing the Jeep Liberty? Seems about the right size. First we have to get used to driving the monster!

Congrats on your new MH, I'm sure you are going to love it. Don't worry about driving it, after a few trips it won't seem any different than what you were driving. As for the toad, take your time and get used to the new MH...We are still working on getting the toad too, but to really enjoy and use the MH to it's best you do need a second vehicle. Good luck and many safe travels.

Mike and Cha thnx for the encouraging words! It will be a transition like before, and change some things like easy parking, etc. but the trade offs are going to be great I think! BTW we live in Orange County as well. Just driving thru the traffic and Los Angeles will break us in real fast! one thing that was easy with the Navion24g.

I guess it's time to ask for a name change that was given to me here. No longer a Sprinter person! Dave, we will do a ton of reading on toads while getting used to the allegro. Our daughter lives in san fran and we can rent a car just down the street, so for the winter that will work well for now.

We were in Zion without a tow and got caught in the rain walking for a few hours. And no buses in Bryce Canyon so the navion came in handy. A little different than the big diesels. I think we will have to plan better on the trips!

We did drive a few gassers and almost chose one with the same floor plan, but in the end the diesel won out on ride.
Thnx again, everyone
Linda
