2004 35DA ALLEGRO OPEN ROAD

AT THE FRONT WINDSHIELD ON BOTH SIDES IS A WINDOW. THE WINDOW ENDS CLOSE TO THE WINDSHIELD IS A FLAT PIECE OF PLASTIC 4 INCH WIDE AND THE HEIGHT OF THE WINDSHIELD. IT IS HELD IN PLACE BY THE SIDE WINDOW FRAME (tucked under) THE 1/2" LIP OF THE SIDE WINDOW FRAME.

OPEN ENGINE COMPARTMENT... LOOKING UP ON BOTH SIDES APPEARS TO BE SOME WIRING WHICH might GO UP TO THE UPPER CABINENTS...

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF WIRING DOES IN FACT RUN DOWN FROM THE UPPER CABINENTS IN THIS AREA (PHOTO ATTACHED)???

To answer your question "yes" they may use the pillar area to run cables thru. Our trim has screws which will remove the plastic trim to access the area. Hope this helps.

To expand a little more, note we have a different coach but it is a good bet the wires go in the same place----- in our coach wires run down behind the trim on both sides of the windshield. There are visable screws holding the trim on and some under the valances where the curtains go a little harder to reach. There are electrical, speaker and cable wires serving the components in the upper cabinets, the heated mirrors and providing a channel for wires to go to the rear for TV's etc. I have had these off many times adding components, making repairs and tracing wiring etc;

If your reading this post and you think you may have made a reply here and can no longer find it and it was not an answer to the original posters question it would be safe to assume it has been removed as being "Off Topic".

Two wrongs or in this case many do not make a right.

Probably will earn me a slap on the wrist BUT I did answer a question asked by the original poster and my post was removed. (in the interest of full disclosure, his question that I answered was not in the first post but in a subsequent one where he asked for opinions) AND I feel that I was quite polite about it.

While your reply was indeed an acceptable answer to a question but since the post asking the question was removed your reply was as well.

If anyone else has concerns along these lines I would ask questions be forwarded by PM to avoid any appearance of discussing moderator actions which is not allowed and strictly enforced here.

I will be the one to earn that slap on the wrist for violating that very same rule in this instance but I felt it was a important question covering a situation that comes up fairly often.
