Where to get extra ignition keys?

I got 2 sets with our coach. I want to make 1 more set as a back up. I've been able to get blanks to cut for all but the ignition key. No dealer has the blank for that & I can't get it from any of my local big box or even mom-n-pop hardware stores. Can't find it on Amazon or eBay.

Any ideas? Do I need to call Red Bay?

Find a real locksmith shop. They will have it.

FYI: On the Wayfarer, since it is built on a Mercedes Sprinter cab chassis, one must go to the dealer. Have to pay for the key and the fob pairing vs DIY.

Best,
-Mark

Try this, if not the right number google TriMark and the number on the key.

Lori, if the locksmith doesn't work Tiffin will send you blanks to have a local company cut it for you. I had a hard time finding the key blank anywhere.

freightliner can get you the ignition blanks
i had to get one from a F/L truck center.
then a lock smith cut the blank to fit.

might call the 800 help line to get a feeler for close by shops.
i would suspect any OTR truck center may have the blanks

if a good locksmith cant help
https://www.amazon.com/Ilco-1628-P-F...C99Z7X2CB4EDHV
amazon has ilco blanks if it helps

now you want a laugh?? i have tow ignition keys from the factory when i purchased the bus...they are different and only one would work...so we had to go get a new one made

I don't have a FL chassis so that won't work, I wouldn't think. I've left messages at a handful of locksmith locations (I guess they're out unlocking people) but no one's called me back.

Know what you mean about the factory keys. Of the 2 factory deadbolt keys, only 1 of them worked in the lock. Had dups made from the one that does.

Thanks, Scott. I think I'm gonna have to call Red Bay for blanks.

On a previous gas coach I went to a locksmith for a complete set of all my keys. I had to call him a couple of times to get through to him. He works mostly from his van but he does have a storefront where I was able to meet him and get the job done.

Good luck!

Tiffin has replacement keys or the capability to get replacement keys. They will need the key number to get you the cut key.

Finally got my blanks (ignition & deadbolt) from Tiffin. They "lost" my 1st online order.

Yeah, I was done chasing locksmiths (see post 9). If they don't want my business, I gladly gave it to Tiffin. Could order right from their online store.
