Wind Noise on Phaeton

We have a 2014 Phaeton 40AH, I have wind noise that is very load and distracting coming from what I think is the D/S outside mirror. When going under 40mph no noise, the faster you go over that the loader the noise.
Has anyone heard of the problem, and what did you or I can do to fix this.

Try putting some tape over the water drain holes along the bottom of the driver's side window frame and see if the noise goes away.

We never have had any noise like you are describing. Make sure your driver's window seal is snug all the way around the window. Ours was missing but it really didn't generate any wind noise - just rattles. I would also check the caulking around the leading edge of the driver's window.

And if all else fails, turn your radio up louder!

Phaeton wind noise

Fought this and finally isolated the noise coming from the lower front drain vent (the rectangular weep hole on the window frame). I stuffed some open cell foam in it and no noise. Foam lets water escape. Taping it will stop the noise but won't allow water to drain.
