Windshield Washers

On my 2014 Phaeton 40 QBH, the windshield washers do not work. I pushed the knob in and nothing. Is there a fuse for the washers? If yes, where would it be located?

I think the washer pump and the wiper motor are on the same fuse/breaker which should be in the DS left front compartment. Can you tell if the pump runs when you press the switch? It could be a broken suction line or obstruction in the washer tank.

I had a similar symptom with my RED a few years ago. Actually everything was working fine, except the washer fluid line had become disconnected and the fluid was going to the ground instead of onto the windshield. Just a thought.

Had this issue on our 2012 Allegro. Turns out the vinyl or polyethylene tubing became brittle, cracked and broke, which prevented fluid reaching spray nozzles. Replaced with a high quality rubber tubing with no problem after that.
