Windshield wiper motor

We have a 40ft QDH 2008 Phaeton. Our wipers quit working. Have checked fuse and replaced, and it has blown twice. Started checking wiring to trace problem, but have not found anything. Hope someone can help us with an answer.

It is probably the windshield wiper motor.

Sorry, hit enter too quickly. Ours went out shortly after we bought our RV. We called Tiffin and they sent us a new one at no cost. My husband installed it and everything worked perfectly.

The first time I turned on the wipers on our then new 35QBA the wiper motor burned out. The technician who put in the new motor said the original really wasn't big enough to handle the 32" wipers. New motor has worked perfectly since its installation.

My wiper motor lasted about 18 months. Probably only had about 4 hrs. of use. In 49 years of owning various other vehicles, I've never had an issue.

first trip out WS wipers on our new 2014 Open Road failed to work. We lost at least four months trying to resolve issue. Tiffin dealer said was a ford issue. Ford dealer said it was a Tiffin issue...turns out part of problem belongs to each. We put over 1400 miles trying to resolve it and could only travel for service as who can predict rain. Alas, we loss about four months on our year's warranty. Other major problems include breakdown in automatic steps twice, unsolved problems with brake alerts and issues with automatic levelers. Parts are almost impossible to secure, always seem to be on back order. All of these problems do not speak towel for Tiffin and its dealers.
