Winegard Dish

I bought my wind-guard Traveler in 2015. The box that came with it is the same as i have had in my home for years. My question is what is a Wally receiver, and what is different from what I currently have now?

The Wally is Dish's latest generation a single set receiver. With the Winnegard Trav'ler antenna, it can be setup to be a DVR that can record on channel and watch live on another channel. The Wally also has an RF remote control which is far better than the IR remotes.

Dish also has the Hopper which is a multi tuner DVR that allows you to watch and record multiple programs on multiple TVs.

I just got Dish for our rig. All the components are in the bedroom and the TV works great with it. The question, how to get the Dish working on all the other TV's

There is a switch on the inside of the AV cabinet that turns on the HDMI splitters which sends signal to the other TVs. There are two splitters in the cabinet, one for the satellite receiver and one for the BluRay player. Then, the other TVs have to have their input set for Satellite/BluRay DVD or whichever input you want to use.
