Zephyr Awning Operation!

Hello just bought a 2008 Zephyr,I need some advice how to operate the awnings, I have the remote for the shapes. is there a switch to change the remote to control the awnings instead of the inside shades, Thanks !!!!!

That manual and many others can be downloaded HERE. I pulled the awning manual from the file named "Appliance Manuals.zip" at the top of the page

But the manual still does not tell you how to switch between the inside shades and the awnings!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe you should have two remotes. The inside shades are not made by the same company who supplies the awnings. If you can't find the awning remote you can control it from the switch panel above the drivers seat. BTW, you do not have Paramont awnings as they didn't appear on coaches until 2012 - 2013 time frame (and maybe not until 2014).

More than likely they are separate remotes being they are different manufacturers. I was trying to search what frequency the shades operate on but have not found anything. The manual shows multiple button remotes available and possibly a spare button could have been programed for the shades. Can you tell by the manual I sent you if the remote you have looks anything like the one in the manual?

I have included pages 2 & 5 (whole brochure was too large to upload) of the brochure for your coach which shows you should have the paramount awning. You might want to verify with any of the documentation you have gotten with the coach though.

HELLO THE awning remote is on 433 MHz and the shade remote is infard red as the old tv remotes!! This is what info I have found!!!

Sounds like you don't have the remote for the awning.

Gaff is correct about the Paramount Awning. You can get another remote from CareFree or from Tiffin.

Thanks for all of your input I finally found the remote in the bottom of a cabinet!!!Now to learn how to use!!! Thanks for all of everyone's input!!
