07 Discovery factory solar questions.

Our 07 Discovery has a funky looking 5W solar panel on the forward AC. I have the red LED on the AC grill that shows red when it's sunny out. I also noticed that AC#2 also has a cable for a solar panel but no panel.

Have some questions, Do these wires feed to the BCC? Is a charge controller used or is 5 watts not enough to warrant a charge controller?

I'm going to install some high voltage panels soon so I'm not looking to do anyting with the factory solar. Just interested on how it's connected to the batteries.

Thanks

The solar panel on the roof of my Bounder had a 3 amp fuse in the BCC.
