A buddy of mine has just purchased a really beautiful 2007 Revolution LE. While checking lights yesterday he discovered that the very top red taillights on both side do not illuminate, no power to either bulb. Our question is, are the very top red lights (there are 5 separate lights stacked on each side) supposed to light and if so, which function....stop, turn, 4-way flashers, etc?? Thanks for any input!

Congrats to your friend . That's a very nice unit and I hope he has many years of enjoyment. Maybe he'll join IRV2 and share them with us. Hopefully someone will have an answer for him ,but he should contact Fleetwood and let them know he is the new owner so he will be notified of any recalls. One that comes to mind is the Norcold one . If he has one he should see if it applies to him. FW can also answer any questions he may have . 1-800-322-8216

Since lights on BOTH sides are not working, is it possible there is a light switch or two he had not yet found?

could be this was wired for towing and sent through a splitter block that way the lights will work with toad. Look for block in wires about 2" by 5" . This was on our last unit and it died, replaced and all lights work well again.

The top right light on my 2005 Rev doesn't always light and on my light test on the walk around I hit it with the palm of my hand and away it goes to flashing. On my coach it is a flasher light.

The top lights which have red lenses are for turn signals and brake lights. Check the fuses in the outside compartment on the drivers side (need to remove two panels) or it could be corrosion on the light sockets, or burnt out lights.
