18 Bounder 33C
I have a few questions about the fuel range for those 16 - 18's with the six speed trans. I have a 80 gallon gas tank I think. I've only filled it up 2 or 3 times. The most I've put in it is about 53 gallons and my fuel gage was below
the one quarter mark. So what's the most you have put in your tank and how many miles do you average per tanks. Just to give me a idea. I think I should get around 450 miles on a average day. Is this about right? I know this can change a lot on windy days or in the rockys's.
Thank

Your best bet is to just calculate your fuel mileage and post that. You would get better comparisons to like type units since that’s what most people go by.
Safe travels

mpg
2016 Bounder 33C. Best mpg I get is 7.0 without towing and 6.5 with towing a 4,700 lb. Jeep.

Thanks, I tow a 2 door Jeep around 4000lbs I think. So you can go 400 or
a little more on a tank. I have been getting around 6.5 to 6.8 so far around
east Texas and Oklahoma. Will be taking a trip to South Texas in March.

Yep, 7 is a decent number for a late model F53 gas motorhome. 5 speed/6 speed doesn't make a difference for MPG from all that I read.
13,000 miles and my average is just under 7 primarily pulling a Ford Focus toad and at capacity GVW (22k)
I almost never go below 1/3 tank. Not sure exactly where the cutoff is for the genset but don't really care. It's most likely in the 1/4 tank range and it no longer runs.

I am on par with the others...6.5-7 towing a 4k pound Ford edge...lower when I am in the mountains higher in the flat lands

Overall we seem to get 7 mpg. Have never had it on a road trip without a toad. We plan our fuel stops with 400 miles in mind.

OK, thanks for your replies. So at 400 miles does it take around 60 gallons to fill it up? That would leave about 140 miles left give or take if you had to push it. What worries me is do I really have a 80 gallon tank. I have had of trucks and RVs that you can only use about 80% of that total before the low fuel light comes on.

The gas capacity should be posted in the coach somewhere. Check the back of a kitchen cabinet door, behind drivers seat on the wall, or closet door. I

We have 2016 Bounder 33c & avg 6 to 7 mpg most of time, with or without pulling tow dolly & Corolla. We usually plan for about 250 mile fuel stops, around 40 gallons. Nice break & easier to find fuel places to our liking.
