Good morning:

I just purchased a 1984 32' Pace Arrow fixer upper, I was wondering how I could find a chassis manual for it? Would anyone have any suggestions or may have one scanned they can upload?

Thanks,
John

First question is whether you have the Ford or the Chevy chassis. If you are not sure, what engine does it have? Or there may be a logo on the steering wheel or shifter.

Hi Gary:

My VIN number is 1gbjp37w3e3325490, and it states that it is a P30 chassis, made GMC / Fleetwood, maybe you know how to decipher the VIN better than I do, it is a 454 Chevy 7.4 Litre engine.

Thanks,
John

The other thing I am dearly in need of is, how to connect the batteries, a wiring diagram. I have the regular battery, and bought 2 deep cycles, the starter works but the engine won't turn over, it has been sitting since last november, so I suspect I may have to give the carburetor a little fuel.

Thanks,
John

I use to own a 1983 Pace 30' with a P30. I don't know if the new GM still does it but you could call their (GM) customer service and request a chassis manual for free and it was very good. As for the batt connections, my 83 had two coach and one chassis batteries. The coach batts where connected in parallel (+to+, - to -). The single chassis batt started the engine only. There was a emergency start switch which would bring on the coach batteries to help the chassis. There is a contactor under the hood which jumps the coach batts to chassis when the switch is engaged. As for the engine not turning over, there was an old service change to the P30 chassis which replaces the small start relay with a more robust 70 to 100 amp ford style starter contactor. I hope this helps. By the way family really enjoyed the Pace.
