1993 Pace Arrow Washer/Dryer

Hello,

It looks like I will soon be the owner of a 1993 Pace Arrow 37J. There are a few little things that need some TLC but they are all cosmetic except the washer/dryer which I don't know that we'll use much anyway. But the previous owner said that it didn't dry well. I'm thinking that since it's a combo it might not be as efficient as a stand alone dryer. But when we bought our house the dryer didn't dry well and I cleaned out the vent lines and now it works like a champ.

My question is, how do you get to the vent lines on these? Has anyone ever tried cleaning theirs out? Can you give me any pointers?

Thanks!

One reason a user may find that the dryer doesn't dry well, is because the dryer uses 110 volts as opposed to 220 volts in a home dryer, thus a longer drying time. Also, we had the stackable washer and dryer and after hearing from other RV'ers with the combination (all in one) washer/dryer, learned that most preferred the separate washer and dryer as opposed to the combination type.

I have a 92 Pace Arrow 37J. My vent to the washer/dryer has a key access on the outside of the motor home. I had to replace the vent on mine. There is also an access door on my washer/dryer unit on the bottom right hand side. It is a filter that I think doubles for a water and dryer filter. Check it and see if it is clogged. It does take a long time to dry. Mine has 2 heat settings. Hope this helps.
