1995 Bounder house battery question

Good day! We just bought a 1995 Bounder. We are going to use it to live in while our home is being repaired from Hurricane Michael. One of the requirements we had of the dealer we bought it from was that the generator worked, for obvious reasons. One of the problems they found was the house batteries were bad. So, they took them out and only put one new one back. I have no idea how a second battery should be connected. If anyone could post a picture of their house batteries installed or a schematic, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all for any help you can provide.

If the batteries are 6 volts each , you have to connect the positive of one with the negative of the other one to produce 12 volts .

As delivered from Fleetwood, you Bounder had two 6 volt house batteries, connected in series.

I doubt the dealer would install 1, 6 volt battery.
