the dash is identical between the chevy and ford versions of the southwind this year and the only difference between my rig and the manual is that my rear view monitor is mounted under the overhead cabinets instead of in the dash.
I generally try to keep the fuel tank full when I'm not traveling and I had checked the breakers and fuses when the gennie was running now now its a matter of tracing and checking all the connections to see where I do and dont have power. I have a feeling the shop that worked on it last year may have screwed something up when they worked on it.
once the manual is done printing it looks like I have a lot of reading to do thanks again for the responses

Happy to have helped, glad it is the Ford Chassis.
And your signature is showing.

Sthwindrider -
We have a 1998 Southwind 32V on the Chevy chassis. Ours has the setup for the radio to run from the house batteries if it is toggled on by the switch below and to the left of the sink, or the switch in the bedroom. The radio's own switch has to be left on. It will work this way when the ignition switch is off. Our MH has no separate switch on the dash for the radio.
The remote radio switches are a bit funky. They work about the same way as the remote switches for the water pump do. I have learned how to give them the right kiond of tap to make them toggle on or off.
If you wired in your new radio the same way your old one was, the remote switches should work.
Our lower right dash panel looks the same as yours, except that we have an additional "Dome Light" switch that controls a pair of overhead lights in the center above the dash.

many new radios have bluetooth. If you do not have a physical battery off switch at the battery those babies will suck your battery dry real fast. Even off the bluetooth will work and they are a drain.
