1998 American Eagle Entry Lights

Does anyone know where the fuse is located for entry lights? My outside door handle & beside door went out along with light located in entry above steps. Never had this happen to my coach. Thinking it could be a fuse. Thanks!

In my 96 Eagle all the 12 volt fuses are on passenger side in the rear compartment that houses the 12 volt batteries. They are in a large black box that has a hinged door on it

On my 1999 Eagle, There's also a fuse block located in the dash panel in front of the driver, look for 2 thumb screws just behind the defrost air duct.

On mine the fuse for the stairs is in the compartment (as described above) with the batteries.

I also have circuit breakers in the dash as described above.

There are also fuses located under the front leading edge of the bed, next to the 110 circuit breakers, behind a metal plate.

I know I don't have an eagle, but on my AC there are some fuses (like the ones for the steps) located near my inverter in the box that holds the solenoid for the disconnect and such. Forget what that device is called, but it is the device that determines which batteries get charged and disconnects the house batteries. It also has a few 12v fuses.

*EDIT* it is the BIRD (Bi-directional Relay Delay)

It is always good to hear that a problem was solved, a good thing to do is to post what (where) was the solution so others will know.

Got them really fixed. They worked for a few times & quit again. Located fuses in bed frame drawer. Fuse was registering fine. Turned light switch on to test. While wiggling fuse lights came on. Changed out fuse & no more problems. Thanks for all the help!!
