2000 Bounder Refrigerator Vent?

Hi Folks,

Purchased the Bounder last year and was up on the roof this past weekend and checked the fridge vent. Took cover off and noticed an electrical cable dangling that had been cut at some point. No voltage on it..

- Was there/is there a vent or fan that is supposed to be up there?
- Fridge and freezer work fine.

Any ideas?

Eric

I don't know about the 2000 model, but some models do have a fan in the vent. I believe most models with the refrigerator in a slide usually have fans. Some owners have added after-market fans to help vent their fridge.

My 1999 has a small fan at the bottom of the coils and blows air up through the coils. I have not removed the cover on top to look down it.

Often folks use the refrig chimney as a path to run their solar panel wires down below. Maybe a previous owner took the solar off and just cut the wire.
