2000 Fleetwood American Eagle -- ECU location

I know a couple of people on here might help.

Where is the Engine ECU on a 2000 American Eagle.
Cummins ISC 350

I found the Allison ECU -- but not the engine ECU.

I have some codes from our trip this weekend, and I would at least like to clean the connections once before it goes to the local Cummins Service Center.

thx -- Dale

I found the ECM -- it is on the side of the engine behind the fuel filter and between it and the fuel pump === not a very accessible location. Lots of fuel pipes running in front of it.

Given the code I was getting I had the Cummins Service Center near me order a new ECM and they will put it in later this week.

My code was a 111-1 or 111-2, and usually produced a yellow light that went away after a few minutes. This weekend it did not go away and then went into a red --Engine Protect light.

That eventually shut the RV down. I reset the codes with a Scangauge and drove home. I never had anything other than a 111 code and had no suspections of oil/fuel pressure problems or such, where I would be concerned about driving it.

I am guessing it will be about $2000-2500 with labor and programming.
They gave the price of a new ECM at $1250.

thx
Dale

the solution was not the ECM --- the codes had to do with the coolant level sensor.
The Ladder stowed inside the rear engine doors had pressed against the wires and given a false code -- the ladder has now been relocated slightly and I am searching for some new connectors to replace the "squashed" ones -- will post about that separately

thx
Dale
