2001 American Dream Sinks not all working after Dewinterize.

I'm new to this 2001 American Dream Class A DP. I de-winterized water and all sinks worked with robust water BEFORE I put the water heater tank back into the system. Both hot and cold streams were as expected. After filling the water tank, then intermittent sinks had problems with water. Only one sink worked (bathroom). Both hot and cold were a small stream on the shower and the kitchen sink. The bathroom sink was full force. I disconnected the city water and re-connected the system again and I got different results. This time the Shower worked well and the other two sinks were anemic streams.

I'm camping in 5 days. It is a shakedown camping trip near my home so I'll debug it then. I'm just looking for ideas on what to check. Thanks.

Note: All of this was on city water. The filter before my waterpump is broken so the water tank was never part of the test. New filter arrives Friday.

There should be a filter just before the water pump. Check that it is clear.

I have found that depending upon the pump flow will likely be less than when hooked to the water supply. We upgraded the pump on our coach to get more flow. More flow means you can go through the water stored in your water tank faster if you do not pay attention.

Thanks for the idea. I discovered the water pump filter was broken when I tried to switch over to the fresh water tank. However, should the new filter be installed with a plumbers tape for leak mitigation? The old one did not have it.

I had the same issue after summarizing my 2003 American Eagle. As lame as it sounds, my problem was caused by sediment and "crap" caught in the filters at the faucets, yep, those little screens that screw onto the faucet spouts were causing the restriction.

I washed them off and water flow was good at all outlets.

Good Luck,

Slow faucets

I will second my screens to both sinks had sediment but the worse was bathroom and shower screens. Removal and clean with toothbrush and they flowed great again.
