A friend of mine is buying a 2003 Southwind. It is 36' on a workhorse with the 8.1 gas. I say it has a 6 speed allison transmission. Am I right or wrong??

Tan,

They went from 5 speed to 6 speed on the 06' chassis year. Not sure when the added the grade brake, but it is on the 06' as well. The grade brake is a real nice option to have on a gas chassis.
