2004 Fleetwood Southwind 37C

I am trying to locate the in-line gas filter for the 2004 Fleetwood Southwind Model 37C. Have looked on the inside of the frame towards the rear with no luck. Can anyone provide more specifics?

location of fuel filter.

would like to know what chassis you have? If a work horse then your looking in the right direction. behind the wheel up on the rail [drivers side]. not to bad to change out.

If it's a Workhorse, it's just behind the rear wheel up in the left frame rail. If it's a Ford, it's in the left frame rail about 1/3 - 1/2 way back between the axles.

If it's a Ford. , it's on the inside of the drivers side rail.

Curious why you are changing it.

The fuel filter is located on the inside rail near the left rear tires. It has three lines going to it. The fuel input, fuel output and a bypass back to the tank. I have the same model.

Why am I changing the filter.

My RV sat for over a year (family health problems). I, unfortunately, did not add anything to the fuel. I started on a trip to Tenn and then to our lot in the Ga mountains. Noticed a definite lack of acceleration both on the interstate and in the mountains. Believe that this is due to a partial blockage in the in-line filter. I was forced to sit in a garage parking lot for 2 days in the Ga summer heat several years ago while they ordered a new filter from the factory so I carry one with me when I travel.

Let us know if the new filter cures the problem. I also changed my fuel filter for a similar problem but it didn't help.

Cleaning the MAF sensor and replacing the air filter brought the power back to what it was like when it was new.
