I am ready to plunk down $65K for what appears to be a well taken care of 2004 Pace Arrow 37C. Any troubling items of particular nature i should make sure to look at twice? Has 25k miles. Has this model coach been good to it's owners? Advice much appreciated

Is it on a Workhorse chassis? If so, there is a brake recall that is supposed to occur by the end of the year. Also, the shocks should be Bilsteins. Other than that, this has been an excellent coach for me.

I wish that were the case, but all the 2004 Pace Arrows 37C that I can find are a low of $69 to $79k - where are the $50k Pace Arrows 37Cs?

I sold my 2005 Pace Arrow last year for $98,000 with just over 57,000 mi. I do not think $65,000 is a bad deal. IMHO, the 37C is the best floor plan, with a WH chassis and 8.1 L Vortec. I did not have any brake problems, or other major problems. Just the usual small items you get with any coach.

We had on '07, on a WH-24, w/ an 8.1 and had no real problems. I agree w/ you about the floor plan. One of the best out there. The only reason we traded, is that we wanted to go bigger, so we traded for an '08 Providence 40X DP. Robbie

My wife and I just purchased an 05 37C this past Spring and we love it! We traded up from a 1990 35' Bounder. Our coach only had 6700 miles on it and is like brand new. No problems other than the usual, had to replace the coach battery, have two skylights replaced and had the roof resealed. The Coach runs like a champ though and I'm really impressed!
I'd say that would be a resonable price, I don't think you'll go wrong.
Regards,
RovinOn

Dillon, whats with "Bilsteine"? Are these shocks that were installed by a recall or what? I am a 2nd owner and have registered with WorkHorse and have no info. from them about the brake recall. Got a letter from them today like I was the owner of a new unit, talkuing about road service ect. but nothing on the brakes.

I ended up passing on the '04 Pace Arrow 37C for $64k. The undercarriage has a significant amount of rust and corrosion on the frame, tranny and all fittings. Everyone except the salesman and his appointed mechanic suggested I pass. And I did. I like the 37C model though and hope to find another one geographically desirable to Florida.

The original shocks on the 2004 Pace Arrows (Workhorse chassis) were too weak. They replaced the front shocks with Bilsteins.

Dillon, thanks for the info. was this an on the run manufacturing change or a recall? How can I tell if I have the Bilsteins or not? My coach is an early 04 so it may not have them. Do you have a model # and info. where I can get them?
Thanks,
Pete

The bilstein shocks are blue and yellow. They were replaced on a recall. Check this website in the workhorse section around May 2004.
