Anyone seen one yet? We have and we love it.. Do any of you for see any problems with it?
The only way I would buy it is for it to have the WH-24 and not buy it from Dan Gamel

We have looked at one also. Wife loves it, I am not so sure. My main concern is that large slide. I think it will become a major problem give it a little time. Lot of weight out there. Not to crazy about that decorator shower in the corner either. The second vanity sink might be nice but not high on my priority list. The one they have here is the last 2005 on the lot and the 2006 models are moving past it. I think I would move to a triple slide before I went with this model....Actually trying to talk the wife into a 06 Excursion.

looked at one at a dealer in vegas, it was sold the first week they had it. two weeks later it was back in the shop and on its way back to riverside ca. for repairs on the slide already. according to the dealer there are already a lot of problems with the slide. i think it needs a lot more modifications and testing before i would even think of getting one.

While the floorplan wouldn't be my first choice, the huge slide is awesome. Problems are to be expected with anything new- especially such a large slide.
My hat's off to Fleetwood for bringing such an idea to the industry. With other manufacturers following their lead things will only get better for all of us!

Rexhall has a similar layout in their Roseair T-Rex (39D)model. Two full length slides.

I saw this floorplan unveiled for the first time last year in Louisville at the RVIA Show. I was favorably impressed with concept.
Looking down through the coach gives the perception of a small apartment. I can only hope as Fleetwood executes this build that the quality remains consistent between successive builds. That a lot of moving part right there.
The more we move forward in slideout technology this appears to be a step backward, only "one" slideout.

I believe Mfg's are doing the RV'ERS a disservice by placeing a coach of this type on a W-22 instead of W-24. For many years they only had the Ford chassis and were some what limited as to size of coach. On some the RVer had to add leaf springs or air bags to support the coach on Ford chassis for safety. These coachs should have four jacks also as to not flex the frame with three jacks. MHO "007"

"007" </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I agree....fortunately the 2005 and 2006 Pace Arrows can be ordered with the W24 chassis. Now the issue is what will the dealers order for their lots?

Looking for profit I would say the same W-22, new owner will be excited about all the glitter of the interior and not understanding the chassis weights unless they did their homework on irv2. "007"

I got to say 007 was right about needing W-24 chassis. Got 4 corner weights today had 600 lb reserve with full fuel & our junk, does not include wife & I. Thats with about 30 gal. water and no spare, which I will ad even if does go over few #s! Been trying to find rim for spare, said it would be 2 weeks getting one about same for tire. Someone please tell me how to add signature, old country boy ain"t to good at this but love forum learn alot from you guys & gals.

Just finished Fleetwood factory tour in Riverside, CA. I asked the guide about problems with the large lide on the 36D and 37D, he said they have had some problems keeping the two slide mechanism's in sync, due to the very long slide itself. He didn't elaborate on what, if anything, they've done about it.
Also, keep in mind, this is the same engine that's on all the Workhorse Chassis'. In my humble opinion this is asking the engine to do more then it's designed for. My 36 ft triple slide is too much for the 8.1 engine. Granted it does okay in lower elevations and on flat ground, but try to go up any hill and the engine strains for all it's worth.
