Had a fuse pop for the turn signals on a 2005 Bounder with the workhorse chassis. Have a feeling the previous owner had similar problems since the fuse that popped was a larger value than the 15A that is specified. Just wondering if there is a problem area where the wires route that may be my problem here and if anyone else has had similar problems and located a trouble prone area.

Welcome! I had a fuse blow when returning with our new rig from NC using the poorly wired tow hitch plug...since re-wiring and adding a "black box" in the RV rear turn signal/brake wiring (by my tow specialist) I've had no fuse blowing problem.

I was looking at the wiring back there and all looked fine. If I start discovering fuses blowing more often, the first thing I may disconnect is the "black box" that converts the seperate turn/brake signals to one output.

I have an '05 Bounder and have had no problems with any fuses blowing.

Found the problem and decided to post the cause in case anyone else had a similar problem. It is more of a Workhorse chassis issue than a Fleetwood issue.

Turns out that the wiring harness was very close to the parking brake pedal. When the parking brake was released, one of the wires in the wiring loom was contacting the parking brake pedal and wore the insulation through. I knew that the problem occured while shifting into reverse but it did not realize that the parking brake had to be released to cause the fuse to blow. A Workhorse dealer found the problem for us. I had spent many hours shifting in and out of reverse trying to find the problem. Unfortunately, never tried with the parkingbrake released.
