I was just informed by my dealer that fleetwood is switching from cummins to cat on the 2005 diesel motorhomes lots of people will be unhappy because there is no comparision between the two when it comes to fuel milage

You could always wait for your Fleetwood motorhome to be made available on an Workhorse R-Series rail with a Cummins engine.

Since Fleetwood has gone "all Cat", we probably won't see an R chassis under a Bounder until WCC offers a Cat powerplant option.

THe Cat is not a 330 HP. it is a 300 HP. I think they are using both Cat and Cummins.

I had a 2003 32' Journey with the 300 HP Cummins and now have a 2003 34' Journey with a 330 Cat. The 34' is heavier and over 40,00 miles avereraged 9.0 mpg, about 0.2 mpg better than the Cummins. I was a Cummins fan, but now prefer the Cat.
