Hi everyone,

I have a bent exhaust pipe corner on my RV. It is bent up. Ergo I would believe this would cut down the amount of exhaust that could come out.

If this assumption is correct, does anyone have a method to straighten out the round like a 6" reamer or some other method?

If not does anyone know where I might find one used or is the bend no problem?

You cannot see it from the top only from the bottom and I would estimate it has approximately 1/2" crush from the bottom to the top.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for your help

Gene

Hi gwarshawsky,

A good muffler shop could cut off the damaged part and weld a chrome
tail pipe extension on.

With out a picture if it is just the edge can you use a pair of pliers and bent it back down.

A bend that small is not a problem and will not affect the exhaust flow...if for cosmetic reasons you want to fix it try the above posts.

1/2" crush will not make you lose any power.
Unless you are running at full wide open pedal to the floor 100% of the time.
Then it may cause a lose of around 1-2 HP or 10-12 ft lb torque.

And it may be a 5" round pipe.
