I've had chassis-related recalls fixed on my '06 PA after someone helped me look up the VIN and determine which recalls applied to my rig. Can someone do that for the Fleetwood # (FIN) to find out if non-chassis-related issues, such as appliances, are still open?

Is Fleetwood Customer Service the place to call? Would they still honor recalls on an '06?

Use your vin# to call fleetwood and vin# to call chassis manufacturer to find out recalls. Use you engine serial number to call your engine manufacturer. Use your tranny serial number to call for your tranny.

Any appliance or other recalls that apply to the coach will be listed in the NHTSA site under the chassis VIN. For example, the recall on a Dometic or Norcold fridge used in a coach would show as a recall on that coach VIN. You don't need anything else if there is an actual federal recall. https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls



You can also search for appliance recalls simply by the appliance brand or manufacturer name with the word 'recall'. Use a general internet search engine such as Google, Yahoo or Bing. For example, search for 'Dometic recall'.
