I would like to install window awnings on the drivers side of my 2006 Bounder. There are 2 windows on the slide that are 18in apart. Would it be better visually to go with 1 long awning to cover both windows or go with 2 awnings.

I have an '05 Bounder with the same type of windows on the slide, I chose to go with two rather than one long one. For two reasons, looks and cost. I'm glad I went with two, they've been on for 4 years now and I'm very pleased with them.

You would think one long one would be cheaper then 2 shorter ones.
Less hardware needed.

Our American Tradition has two sets of windows on one side and we have one long window awning to cover them. We like it, but it's a matter of personal taste.

I also have two windows fairly close on one side of our bounder. We chose one long window awning (144" long and 30" tall). We stay in Tucson AZ most of the time and sometimes Las Vegas- so we wanted to get as much shade on the windows and the side motorhome as possible It made a major difference in the solar heat on that side of the motohome. We also got the clear view material. Clear view is like the material you use on your windshield- you can see through it but it blocks 80-90% of the heat. So it doesnt block our view when they are down. We really like them.

I have a 2006 Bounder and have 1 long awning and like it very much as you get more shade from one long one

With the long awning do you still have just one pull down strap in the middle and how easy is it to pull down and retract. Do you have a metal cover on your main awning and did you go with metal cover on your window awnings. thanks

I have one strap and a metal cover....very easy to let up and down and in an emergency can raise and lower from inside the coach.
