Just went to the dealer today to do a pre-delivery inspection of our new Discovery 39S. Checked and tested everything inside and out and didn't find any problems. Also took it for a test drive as well.

On the exterior I did find a very slight wave in the skin of the compartment storage door on the passenger side which you could barely see. Not sure what to do about it but feel something should be done given what I paid for the unit.

I asked the dealer to consider swapping out the compartment door with another unit on the lot which is the same exterior color.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I ask to have the compartment door replaced with a new one directly from Fleetwood? If I do get a new compartment door from Fleetwood would it come from the factory painted to match?

I would appreciate anyones advice as I will be following up with my dealer on Monday.

Thanks,

Mike R.

Congrats on new coach and a belated welcome to the irv2 forums.

You have been doing your home work have a nice coach. The door if it was painted at factory, and the paint is a different batch, may not match, put pressure on dealer to change it out if door is that bad.
Many happy and safe miles with your new toy. "007"

Mike, don't complete the transaction until you are completely satisfied.
