The awning on the full wall slide was not installed correctly at the factory. It hangs 2 inches over the front end and is 2.5 - 3 inches short of the the back end of the slide. When it rains the water drains onto the slide at the back and over the edge until it reached the opening for the slide lock. the water then enters the slide into the cabinet over the dresser and all over the slide in the bedroom area. We have raised the rear of the coach, tilted it to the drivers side in an attempt to direct the water over the front of the slide but am concerned about flexing the frame of either the coach and/or the body. Any suggestions other than replacing the complete awning?

There is room, however after taking measurements last night, the fabric is too short to fully cover the slide. Looks like the factory (Fleetwood or A&E) installed too short of a fabric.

Looks like someone did not measure twice and cut once. You should be able to get a new one made at a upholstery shop cheaper You might try duct tape to cover lock to make sure that's were the water comes in. And then pull it off when the slide comes in.
