The manual for our 2006 Bounder says it is "CB ready" but offers no further info on installing one. I note that the antenna on the roof may well be a dual purpose one because it has a winding on it as well as a set screw to be able to do an SWR check. I suspect there may be a splitter someplace in the coax but I have not been able to find it. Does anyone out there in Bounderland have any specific details that will save an ole fella with a bad back a lot of crawling around at difficult angles in searching for the solution? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Reg

The coax cable on my Bounder was coiled up under the dash by the radio.

My CB cable was inside the center storage cabinet below the dash. There are two different fuse boxes there also. Of course yours may be different. Posting your model number could be a big help.

My cable was in the pull out console under the radio. I was not able to get a good signal using this antenna and added a new one.

That's where mine was too.

As Cliff stated, the cable & splitter are tucked under the lower lip of the dash, beneath the radio. Just feel up in there & you'll find it. The OEM antenna is worthless for tuning in CB chatter. I know, we tried it with a Cobra CB we purchased. Half-mile radius at best. You'll need to install a separate antenna just for the CB if you're serious about using one.

Furthermore, the splitter is not worth a whole lot. It caused serious feedback into the radio on mine. I installed a separate antenna for the CB. You'll also need to do a good job of grounding. My '05 Bounder's cruise control has to be the most noisey (RFI wise) of anything on the coach.
