A friend of mine has a 2006 Pace Arrow, he tells me that it has a small compressor or pump in one of the storage compartments. Attached to this is a tube running back to the hitch area by the trailer light connection.

Anyone know what this is for or it's function?

Sounds like it was set up for the BrakeSmart dingy brake system. Check to see if it has actuating lever attached to the brake pedal on the coach.

Several models of toad brake use compressors on the motorhome to provide air to the toad system. These are toad brakes that were originally designed for coaches with air brakes (diesels) and then were adapted for coaches without air systems (e.g. gas coaches). Brakemaster is one such. M&G is another
