Just bought a 2007 Fleetwood Southwind and looking forward to experincing this beautiful MH. However, after searching and looking at manuals (the ones I got) I cannot find 2 things I'm looking for. 1) The Fresh Water Tank Drain Valve (Looked everywhere) an 2) the Hot Water Heater bypass valve if there is one. I would appreciate any help that comes my way. PS... The FW drain vavle was not where Fleetwood told me it was.

Mine is at the fresh water tank. It is slightly
visible at the left side of this photo. Did you speak with FW or the dealer ? I would think FW would be able to point you in the right direction

By the way. Welcome to IRV2. Hopefully someone with a Southwind will be along to assist you.

Blade 819, (I didn't know there were so many Blades around!)

The Fresh Water Tank Drain Valve is the white approx 1½” PVC pipe with a red ball valve handle on top and found in the dump valve compartment. It’s where Cliff stated it should be.

The Hot Water Heater bypass valve is in one of your outside compartments, closest to the hot water heater. It should have a red, inline valve for (hot) and a blue inline valve (cold) for draining the cold water plumbing systems.

Well I looked agin today in the dump valve compartment and although the instructions on the inside compartment door refer to the "fresh water drain vavle", it is no where to be found. I did everything but crawl into the compartment. As far as the hot water bypass vavle, I cannot find that one either. I do have 2 valves in one compartment where the filter is that are low drain vavles.

On my 08 Southwind 32', my freshwater drain vavle is in the first compartment aft of the entry door at the very back. on mine you can see the tank and it is at the bottom of the side you see and hard to see in all the pipes and such. The hot water bypass should be in the next compartment aft. Hope this helps.
