Cliff,
I have also had slide problems - mainly broken gear in motor/gearbox assembly.
Part # 130-1204 P/N 523900. Is a heavier duty assembly avaliable? sinkwl@erinet.com

Update. I paid for the (what Fleetwood is calling Upgrade Blocks) to be installed in my 08 bounder 35H. The slide does seem to work better. I was afraid that the slide would not sit flush with the coach floor when out but that is not the case. So slide is fixed but jacks are still a problem. I am not a fan of power gear!!!!

Wayne

It appears that power gear came out with a new High Torque Motor to fix this problem. The part # is 1010000010. This was in my post # 9 on this thread.

What year and model Bounder do you have?

Cliff

My bounder is a 2005, 36V. Guess the cheap power gear problem has been around for awhile. I also have Atwood electric levelers - Have replaced one. The levelers are also a cheap design. Why do we have to put up with this. I am an retired Electrical Engineer, worked for a steel company, and we always used the best quality components - too dangerous to do otherwise.

Wow is it ever confusing to find out the p/n for a replacement slide motor. The slide does come in, but during the up portion it is very slow and has to be raised in short bursts. After getting up the slide comes in, albeit slowly.

Any help would be appreciated on identification, as well as a supplier.

Motor Home:
2003 Fleetwood Bounder 35r on Ford chassis.

Existing slide motor:
P/N: 13-1109
S/N: 270990

It is a center drive motor on the main slider. From the chart I am assuming the replacement part is 523900 or 520819 or 1010000010.

Anyone with any more accurate info let me know. Also a good place to go to purchase a new/used one would be appreciated.
