I have searched this forum for a solution to this problem, without much success.
Our problem is the same as many others. When we pull up to the pump, fueling becomes an ordeal. 30 gallons becomes a half hour chore. The coach has been back to the dealership 3 times for 'fixing' but the problem now seems to be worse than ever. Sometimes it will not take any fuel PERIOD without spitting it back out the filler.
Is there any real solution to this problem other than jacking up the back end when fueling, holding the nozzle at a 30 or 90 degree angle, or taking off the 'P' trap at the upper end of the fueling hose?
Or - am I just supposed to be frustrated at this problem for the rest of the coaches life ???

Things that need to be looked at include:
* Make sure that the tank vent hose is clear, straight, and not kinked anywhere. If it has liquid in it, it will not vent.
* Make sure the tank fill hose goes downhill the entire distance from the nozzle entry to the tank. If it's got a dip in it, like a P-trap, it'll affect filling.

Our 35e has never had this problem, so I would assume your problem is fixable using factory parts. Looking at my Bounder I saw no "p" trap but there may be a retriction at the tank. If I were you I would post your problem at the Yahoo Bounder group:
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/bounder/
There are a lot of resources in that group along with Fleetwood technical support.

Had this problem on 96 Bounder follow what Allen said and be sure you have straight runs to fuel tank. Check vent line smaller hose and you may have to dress along top of fuel hose. Use ties to hold in place. Like Allen said may have fuel in vent hose blow it back into tank.

Gregory,
I had the same problem on my '05. As has been mentioned, look at the vent hose. I had to cut 6" off to take out a big dip. After that, it filled at a normal rate.
