2007 Fleetwood Battery Disconnect Switch

I'm trying to see iof there is a manual disconnect switch for the house batteries. I disconnected them by the remote switch on the front control panel. When we cleaned the cable connections and went to replace the cable - giant arching. Something seems to be drawing a big load. Also the 2011 batteries look like they're bulging a bit.

Please help!!

There is no OEM manual disconnect switch. Some slight, or one time, sparking is normal. Giant arching is NOT. Are you sure you have replaced the cables exactly as they were? Also, the bulging of batteries is NOT a good sign.

There are a few things that bypass the battery disconnect switch. For example, if you have an inverter it is probably hard-wired to the batteries. Maybe the slide motors too. Try turning off the breaker that feeds the inverter/charger (or disconnect from shore power). That would attempt to pour current into the batteries as soon as the slightest connection is made.
