Exclamation 2007 Fleetwood Discovery 39v electrical systems

I'm close to mounting 4 high voltage panels to the top of the rig. Did at one time have 2 PDF's, one for the high voltage & one for the low voltage layouts but can't locate.

Unfortunately, I let my Discovery Owners club membership lapse, was just not really utilizing the site/services.

Anybody have the PDF's? Also any comment from any of like 07 models have any stories to tell about mounting panels?

Not 100% sure what size self tapping screws to use. Will have to take a look at the roof material thru one of the heat pump panels. Just don't want to end up punching thru a high and/or low voltage wire.

That would really .....Nevermind! LOL

Thanks All

Hi Robert,

I live in Ventura also and have the 120 VAC and 12 VDC schematics for a 2006 Expedition, which should be nearly identical. You can call Fleetwood and they will email them to you also. I assume by high voltage panels on your roof you are talking about DC solar panels. I have two panels on mine. I mounted them with 3/4" long 1/4" diameter stainless lags with Dicor under and over the brackets. The feed runs down through the closest to my charge controller and continues down to the house battery array. I would recommend putting a Bogart Engineering monitoring panel in also to really get a good idea of how the system is working.
