I have a Power Gear system on my bedroom slide. Recently I noticed when retracting the slide comes in smoothly, stops & then slides back slightly. The slide has never moved after travel, so I assume the motor brake is engaged. Is this normal or is there a potential problem brewing?

Thanks for any input.

Sounds like your brake lever has slipped. It might get worse if not reset to lock position.
