Has anyone received any recall notice from Fleetwoow on the NHTSA recalls # 07V503000 & 07V504000? This concerns the slides moving out while the MH is in motion. This doesn't sound too good. I will be contacting Fleetwood today on this.

Any word on if this is just for the Pace Arrow, or a certain manufacturer of slideout motors?

Hi There
I have the same model as yours in the Bounder and I haven't receieved the actual notice as of yet, but did call Fleetwood last week and they told me that they were sent out December 29, 2007. I thought it was just late because of the mail as I am in Canada but obviously it's not. They gave me the info I needed and I passed it onto my dealer last week. The dealer has had my unit for warranty items and called today to say all the work was done but the recall. He was waiting on the materials to come from Indiana and they are to be here next week. Quick fix is what they tell me. Will let you know next week how we make out.

Sorry missed the other note on who the recall was for. It is only for 2007 - 2008 Fleetwood Bounders and Pace Arrow Model 38P manufactured between January 4, 2007 and Sept. 28, 2007
The potential number of units involved is 163.

Scootertrash, we have had our 38P for almost a year now. We love everything about it except the vacuum flush toilet. This toilet might be OK for boats but for a MH it is #$%@&!!! We also love the U shaped dinette and the storage space under the seats. The kin g size bed is OK, I make up the bed in the morning and I have gotten use to sliding the mattress from side to side in order to get a little more leg room while making up the bed. We love the space in the living area with slides on both sides. The kitchen cabinet area is enough with the large double sinks. The bath area is tight but useful and we manage fine. I only have about 3500 or so miles on it and am very satisfied with the way it handles on the road. We went from a fiver to this MH. I purchased mine from Lazydays in Tampa and am satisfied with the service and sale. Good luck on your decision.
