Water heater won't work? It is gas/electric neither will work. I have gas and it is on. I have checked the breaker for the electric and it's not tripped, reset anyway. When I turn on either switch inside the coach, the light doesn't come on, the gas igniter isn't trying to light. Is there another breaker underneath or a reset? Problem seems to be electrical not gas related. It's gonna be warm today but still not looking forward to a cold shower!

If neither gas nor electric works, you probably do not have 12v power to the heater's circuit board. Look for a fuse.

The circuit breaker is only for the 120v electric heating element - the brains of the heater require 12v.

I had a similiar problem with my gas only water heater about 2 years ago. For a quick fix I cleaned all the wire connections at the panel outside. This would allow the heater to work for a few weeks. My wife was at the Rv alone when the igniter would not relight, I talked her though it on the phone & in the process she broke a terminal on the temp sensor, she had to change the sensors on the panel. Haven't had a problem since.
Hope this helps.

Checked every fuse and they checked ok so I pulled every connection outside on the heater and replaced them and the gas burner lit and is working now. I will check the electric AFTER a shower! thanks guys!

Electric now works also. Will add some dielectric grease when I get home.that should solve that problem!

Glad it worked out for you. I think the terminals being exposed to the heat & cold & possibly condensation most likely causes the poor connections. Be sure to add the dielectric grease. I forgot to mention that.
