Looking at a gas 2008 Pace Arrow 38P. Has everything we want in it i.e king bed, washer/dryer, etc. Perfect for us.

The RVConsumer.org CD rates this model low in the handling department and I can't see why with the WO chassis and 6 speed Allison transmission.

Does anyone have any bad or good comments about the Pace Arrow? Our alternative is the Winnebago Adventurer as of today (that changes every week!)

TIA for any comments.

We have the 2007 Pace Arrow 38P on a W-24 chaise, 8.1 and 6 speed Allison. We love the layout. Haven't put many miles on the highway as of yet, picked it up in Tampa Fl last year. My wife and I both drive it and have no trouble. I also looked at the Winnebago but decide on the Pace Arrow. Good luck in your choice and enjoy your MH.

Hi stevebxl,

The Pace Arrow is an excellent MH and I don't think you will find a gas chassis that handles better or performs better than the Workhorse.

Makes one wonder what they were comparing it to, perhaps a BMW???

The RV Consumer group ratings are based on subjective criteria and not driving comparisons or actual tests. In this type/size of coach you have a choice of Workhorse or Ford - the Freightliner Fred chassis doesn't run quite that large. Neither will handle as nicely as a larger diesel pusher chassis, but either should be adequate.

I have a 2007 Bounder 35E. Its not as fancy as the Pace but it drives and handles very well. I don't feel 18 wheelers when they pass. I think you will like the Pace.
