2008 Bounder 35E Fuse Panel
Ok, i've tried everything including standing on my head trying to find the chassis Fuse panel which, according to the Bounder manual, is located somewhere under the instrument cluster by the brake pedel. No can find. There is a large cover right under the steering colomn which I looked under by popping out one of the plastic pins. No luck. There is supposed to be one under the "HOOD" also, but can't find that one either. Frustrating. This is the Ford chassis with the V-10. Before I rip out the drivers seat for better access, could someone help me in the hunt. I got rid of that ugly Magnadyne radio and installed one that I can actually read what is written on the basil. Blew a fuse in the proccess.

There is a fuse panal at the extreme left on the dash board. Lift the cover held on with velcro, however I think the fuse you are looking for will be in the battery control center which is in the forward passanger basement compartment above the propane tank.

I don't recall any panel that will lift up an the extreme left, but I will definately check it out in the morning thanks. Thefuse that blew is for the cigarette lighter sockets, and the instrument panel lights. I don't think that it would be in the basement.

That fuse is under the hood in in a 6"x4" black box labled power distribution. It is just to the right of the trans dip stick. Pull off that cover and you'll see about 20-25 fuses. The scematic is in the Ford Manual.

Clifftall was definately correct. Couldn't believe I didn't know it was far left in the dash. I guess it would have helped if the dealership had told me (if they knew). The bounder manual says that it is located under the instrument cluster, near the brake pedal. And yes, I did find the box under the hood, and that is where the 20 amp fuse was blown.
Thanks for the help; every day is a learning experience.
Now I have to find out what it will cost to replace the transmission cooler the sits in front of the radiator. It has a slow "WEEP" due to a stone hit. I will have to come up with a protective screen once I change it out. Ain't life grand!!
