I'm guessing he has some sort of oil/filter change reminder, but without some info as to what component the reminder is part of, we can't even guess. I've even seen GPS with extra features like that! I had a Trip Tek system on my last coach that had maintenance reminders, and I think the Silverleaf does also. Instructions for resetting the reminder would be part of those systems.
The 2008 Discovery has a Friehtliner chassis and maybe the dash display includes a filter reminder for the engine. If so, the Freightliner chassis owner manual should cover that.

He's talking about the Light Bar Control Unit (LBCU). There's a toggle next to it. You mess with that. I can do it but can't describe how without doing it. Suggest call Freightliner and they will talk you through it.

Yes, toggle until you reach the maintenance light. You can reset all your reminders there.

The Freightliner RV Chassis Operator manual covers the LBCU Maintenance display/menu stuff. It's a bit tough to comprehend, i.e. not task oriented at all, but you can figure out the menu screens to get to Maintenance Set-up where you can change intervals and reset reminders.
You can download it from Freightliner Custom Chassis at https://www.fcccrv.com/parts-and-service/downloads/

Ok thanks for all the help. I don't think I have that manual in my bag. I will download it from website because I can't find any buttons or toggle switches any where around the LBCU to mess with

I thought all the 2008 vintage chassis had the menu control toggle, but maybe not. My 2004 did not have it, but that was a much earlier version of the light bar unit and had no message center. On mine, the only menu toggle was two pushbuttons next to the odometer.

On my 07 40X there is the main panel where the LBCU and gauges are. On either side there are smaller panels. Driver side is a vent, light and wiper switches, etc. On the right side there is a vent, window shade switches, and, at the very bottom, the toggle.
