Unhappy 2008 Expedition. Help! Replaced transfer switch & have surge protector no luck

We bought our 38'fleetwood expedition in 2008 new. We keep it plugged in & stored- only 11k miles. Since we purchased we have complete Power outages that last typically a few seconds to a few minutes. We added an external surge protector- did not work- called fleetwood & they said it was a transfer switch- paid today to have replaced & still same problem. Very frustrating as we were supposed to leave tomorrow- anyone else with problem?

What brand of surge protector do you have? Did the installer of the transfer switch verify that that was the issue before changing it out? A Progressive EMS has a switch to bypass it if it's faulty. If it's a Surge Guard, you might be out of luck if it's more than a year old, they don't repair them, just sell you a new one. Progressive Ind. is a lifetime warranty, if you call they can walk you through a few quick tests to see if it's working.

If it's not the Surge Protector it could be a faulty shore cord or plug. A systematic test along each step of the power path, from outlet to circuit breaker panel should show where the problem is.

Does it also happen on generator power? Has it occurred at more than one location?

When you say power outages , do you mean 110volt power only or all power 12 volt lighting and all outlets and 110volt?
If only 110 volt then; with the RV disconnected from shore power , open up the 110 volt breaker box and make sure all wiring connections to the circuit breakers are tight.
