We had a 37 foot Journey with the C7 350 and purchased a Revolution 40L with a 400 Cat. It pulls our Grand Cherokee in mountains of VA fine but due to extra size, weight, and two more slides does not appear to be quite as responsive and a little less mpg but the extra space both inside and storage is really nice.

We have had a Revolution and that 400 Cummins will do just fine with the Jeep. We also had a Revolution with an ISC, and it would have done the job quite well, but a little slower on the big hills.

I have a 2008 Revolution with the 400 ISL. This is my second coach with the ISL and I can assure you it is a great engine. Our trips are about 1,600 miles round trip. Sometimes towing a 24' boat or a ford F150. The ISL will power through any situation with torque to spare. Ive put about 30k miles on this engine and couldnt be happier with its performance. It will get around 7.5 to 8.5 mpg and do it without straining or slowing down on hills.

The torque on the 400 isn't that much different than the 450. Your only concern should be, where will your first trip in you new RV be?

On our 40L the fuses are located in the front basement compartment on the drivers side behind two removable panals.

The snowflake light is not coming on when pressed for ac inthe coach im trying to private buy. Fan works but no dash ac. Any thoughts ?? Fuse location for dash ac for the snowflake button?? The current owner says he had ac compressor replaced last year in Texas on trip. I would not assume it has any thing to do with the compressor since the button light is not illuminating when pressed. Leading me to believe the problems lies in power to switch
Making second and last trip there tomorrow to confirm purchase. Any thoughts prior to much appreciated.
