New to the forum and new to RV ownership.

I purchased a 2008 Fleetwood Providence 40e to tow the race car. From everything I can find the Freighliner chassis should be wired for brakes under the dash.

What am I looking for and where abouts have others found it????

I've been looking for 3 hours now...no luck and i'm starting to dismantle things now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

My previous MH ('06 Prov.) had the wiring harness under the dash just to the right of the steering column. It's marked trailer harness and if I remember, it had three wires (one was blue) and I think red/black.
It's there, just keep looking. sometimes I think they tie the harness up to make the owner feel foolish that they cannot find it!!

05 Providence has the brake harness under the dash just below the key. Hook your brake controller up quick and easy.

after quite a few hours and frustration and about 5 min from running my own wires I was putting things back together and I found it. I was right next to the connector going up the column. No label but it's there!

thanks for responding and keeping me motivated to find it!

I will post a photo when I get home...

look right next to the the harness which connects to the steering column. There is connector which goes to the short harness that goes up the steering column...it was right next to that, coming out of the same loom.
