2016 Bounder 35K
Traded 2016 Greyhawk 31DS for Bounder 35k and looking for info from other owners on 35K about handling have read about Steering stabilizer, and heavy duty sway control for front and rear Question is how much does it help and is it worth the money?
Other issue is there something that can be done to engine cover in coach for the amount of heat that comes from it I was amazed how hot it gets?

2016 Bounder 35K
Congrats on your Bounder and welcome to irv2. I never needed any mods to my 08 35E but others have. Here's a link that may be helpful.

First of all what version 35K do you have? There are two, the later one is the 30th Anniversary Edition. Also which drive train does it have? Also two possibilities 2015 5 speed or 2016 6 speed. One reason I ask is that the 30th anniversary editions have an upgraded sound deadening package which I suspect helps your heat issue. My coach is a 30th anniversary Edition and I don't have a heat issue with the dog house.
MY coach was very drivable as delivered but performing the Cheap Handling Fix improved the handling. Is you steering wheel straight while going down the road? The Bounders are aligned at the factory after assembly so if the coach pulls or the wheel isn't straight something has happened to the alignment. The placard next to the drivers seat calls for 90PSI tire pressure in all the tires, unless you weigh the coach that is what I recommend you set the pressure to. I have installed a Roadmaster RSSA steering stabilizer on my coach around town I can't tell a difference, on the highway it does help the coach track a bit better and reduces driver fatigue. The improvement resulting from the Cheap Handling Fix is the more noticeable of the improvements and only costs some time.
Information on the Cheap Handling Fix can be found in the Ford Chassis section of the forum. Also there is a thread in this forum dealing with the 2016 Bounder owner experience, when I read this post that one was just below it I'm sure you'll find it interesting.
Good Luck with your Bounder

Thanks I believe I have the 6 speed transmission and Air pressure at 90 PSI, coach dose not pull or anything like that it is very to drive, even wind and big trucks don't push it around like it did our class C.
I just want to get so of the body roll out of coach and make it handle a lot better I'm hoping this is last Rv I buy for several years Thanks Ed

CHF will combat the body roll. The steering stabilizer ( I went with the RSSA) does a nice job taking the "play" out of the steering.
I did both prior to my trip to Decatur last week. 2200 miles round trip. I did 632 miles one day. Prior to those 2 fixes I could barely eek out 250 miles due to the "slop" in the steering. It would just wear your down. Both are tremendous improvements. Happy I did both.

Sounds like the CHF will fit your needs nicely. Some folks like to add a longer link to the front sway bar when doing it but my results have been more than satisfactory by just moving the links to the other bolt hole. I have done this mod to 3 coaches now and it's very worthwhile. For more info see the thread in the Ford chassis section.

weigh your coach, you may be able to run much lower pressures, resulting in a huge ride difference. I can run my fronts as low as 75 pounds.
