2016 Discovery 40x paint flaking issues

My 2016 Discovery 40x has paint flaking off on the trim pieces that go around the coach . It appears that they seal each seam with silicone and then the coach is painted over the top . Of course silicone will not hold paint and the flaking begins . Has anybody else seen this and what can be don about it .

2015 40E no problems with that. Some installer probably over siliconed yours. Their employee turnover over rate is probably high due to high demand for RV.s

I have this on my 2015 40E on the bottom corner of my FW slide (about 1 inch spot). Not sure what to do with it? Looking for ideas.

Mine is under warranty and I spoke to the selling dealer. it is going in this winter to have the spots repainted . They told me that this a problem they have seen several times before on the Fleetwoods but some people it dose not bother others it dose . I guess I expect my $200,000 coach for the paint to stay on .

What is the warranty period on the Fleetwood MH paint?

Fleetwood does not use silicone. Paint will not stick to silicone, period. They use a product ccalled osi quad. Great stuff.
