2018 Discovery 38K coach heater door

Anyone having trouble with the heater blend door motor
Ours runs in one direction clicks 2 or 3 times then runs in the other direction clicks 2 or 3 times then moves to the correct location. Does this every time the key is turned on. Iím sure itís just a matter of time before it breaks. Fleetwood says they have never had this problem???

Fleetwood is aware of the bad servo motors on the Aurora dash air conditions. I had mine replaced at REV in September. Come Tuesday, General RV will be replacing the one REV installed. I know of three other Disco owners that have had this servo replaced. Wish REV had stuck with the more reliable Denso dash air system!

Just wanted to add this tidbit. When General RV called REV parts for the replacement servo motor, REV had 48 in stock. If your not having issues with a part, you generally don't stock many of them.

Well, after sitting in General RV's customer lounge all day I have an update on our servo motor replacement. Technician replaced the servo, then turned the "goes to" rotatory dial to test each position for correct operation. Servo covered 3/4 of its range then got hung up. Technician pulled the Aurora air box and found a loose piece of gasket material was stopping the damper. When the servo comes to a sudden halt it tends to strip its plastic/nylon gears. Our technician removed the FOD and everything works as it should.

Same reason they have a Dispute Resolution Administrator.
