2018 Discovery 38K king to queen

Any one cut down their king mattress and bed frame to a queen, would like more room on the sides

I changed the mattress only. Didn't both cutting down the frame. Queen sure makes it easier to make the bed.

Thinking about doing that to my 2015 40X Discovery, the hump in the floor next to the rear wardrobe makes it very difficult to get around.

We simply pull the king mattress back away from the head board, make up the 2 sheets and blankets then push it back. Then tuck them in at bottom.
